Christian is Chairman of Ascent Resources plc and Coro Energy plc, one of two listed investment companies he co-founded in 2010. He has been investing in, advising on and promoting investments in renewable energy since 2009.

Following eight years in the British Army, Christian began his career in fund management in 1988. He has worked for several investment houses holding senior positions at Bear Stearns Asset Management where he was CEO International, Julius Baer Investments as CEO London, Chase Asset Management as MD EMEA and Lazard Asset Management.

Since 2012, Christian has combined being an entrepreneur and consultant with being a non-executive director, with significant experience across sectors including renewable energy (including wind, waste to energy and BESS), real estate, hospitality, fund management and wealth management where until October 2020 he was Chairman of the Bowmore Wealth Group.

Stephen is highly experienced geoscientist who has worked in the upstream oil and gas industry for over 35 years with a particular focus on gas developments across multiple jurisdictions with Britoil, BP and Elf and Sterling Resources, where he discovered and initiated the development of the Black Sea gas field complex, Ana/Doina in Romania.

Previously he was Managing Director for operating businesses in Romania, the Netherlands and France with Sterling Resources. During that time being responsible for operations and business development activity, including holding the honorary role of President of the Romanian Oil and Gas Operators Association (ROPEPCA) between 2018 and 2020.

Stephen has a BSc Honours in Applied Geology (Mining and Petroleum) and is a long-standing member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIEN) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

James is Chairman at Ascent Resources plc, Corcel plc and Coro Energy Plc.

James has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of strategy, management, finance and corporate development in the energy industry. He started his career with the Royal Dutch Shell group where he spent 12 years with Shell working in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and London.

James was previously Chief Executive at Sound Energy Plc for 8 years, is a qualified accountant and has a BA Honours in Business Economics.

Martin has over 18 years’ experience in oil & gas investment banking at Rothschild & Sons in London where he was a Managing Director in the global energy team with a focus on LatAM and Africa.

Previously he was Head of Oil & Gas, SE Asia, based out of Singapore. Martin has corporate finance expertise across the value chain with a particular focus on the upstream sector. He has advised on numerous transactions, including debt and equity, at both the corporate and asset level.

Martin holds a BA (Hons) from Exeter University.
